Kangta to Train Juniors, Enters Military Today

Last March 30, Kangta held a press conference at the Yonsei University Hall and expressed his intentions of training juniors after he is discharged from his military service. Kangta enlists today, April 1, at the 306 Replacement Center in Uijungbu, Gyeonggi-do.
“After finishing the military service, I’d work hard on my music activities and if given an opportunity, I’d like to perform in a drama and movie. Training local juniors is important but I’ll be giving priority to those in China. I’d like to discover and train them and make their albums,” Kangta said.
Kangta promised that he will return after 2 years in a better form.
Good bye Kangta! Sounds like he can't wait to earn more money. But it seems like he's just being generous. Think whatever you will. But I'm going to miss seeing him on screen and on gossip news. I bet he's going to mature more in the military, both physically and mentally.
I noticed some Korean men changed a bit and sometimes changed a lot after their military service. But to be honest, I think 2 years in the military is an awfully long time. Can they reduce it to 1 year instead? Most stars suffer from their absence in showbizness. And when they come back, they're not as popular and as in-demand as they were before they attended military service.
