OXY ACCEPTED ME FOR STUDY ABROAD!!!!! OMG this is probably one of the most elated states I've ever been. Almost as excited as I was to hear that I got into Oxy senior year of high school. Although, I'm still not ready to throw down the sombrero and do a dance because on SIT's behalf, I'm still only conditionally accepted. However, on Rachel's behalf, she just thinks that it means that my acceptance is contingent as to whether or not Oxy will accept me....and they did...so do I get to go now?
I stopped doing the happy dance for a little bit and started to research plane tickets and how much it would cost...bajeezus christo, I'm going to have to fundraise to really go. The tickets right now cost an astounding average of $1500! Although, Rissa made a good point and said that gas prices are really fucked up right now, so that may be the reason as to why it's so ungodly expensive.
I'm so nervous, excited, anxious and I don't want to go around spreading the news because, well, I haven't officially heard from SIT.
Hopefully this is not an unreciprocated feeling. Come on SIT, I'm sending you good vibes right now~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~SIT!
In other news, I donated blood today and yet again in typical Ana fashion I got lightheaded, pale, green, numb fingers and nauseous. But like Mike said, I am saving a life so that's why I keep going back despite the consequences.
Well, it's hallspread tonight and I don't think I have any reading for sociology, do I? I should go ask Jenn, she would know. No?
Okay, I might slightly be screwed.
