Things today
Boy and I are tonight going to a feminist sci-fi book club meeting. First discussion is Herland by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, author of "The Yellow Wallpaper". :)
We are also going to a yarn store to find some cheap acrylic yarn so I can make my ear-flap hat for the Sister Finland cosplay I'm doing for Arisia. I've decided to make that now so I can get back in the swing to finish the more difficult lace stuff I've been working on.
Also, I am now blatantly fishing: can I hit someone up to buy me a few extra userpic packages on LJ? Mine are expired and without my full range of icons I cannot fully express myself! Woe! In exchange I can write a ficlet or something, or knit something. Just let me know what you want. Thanks.
