DEBORK BENEFIT BAKE SALE WEEK 3

Jan 16, 2012 10:36

Welcome to Week 3 of the "Debork My Laptop" Benefit Bake Sale! With any luck, this should be the last sale I need in order to get my laptop fixed. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!

I've been asked if I'm going to keep doing this sale anyway. I dunno. If you want me to, I'll put up a post about that later and we'll talk about it.

And now back to the sale!

HOW IT WORKS:

I will bake two batches of scones per week -- no more, no less. First two people to comment requesting a batch get the awesome privilege of giving me money for baked goods. After that, I comment lock the announcement post so people don't think they're getting scones when they're not. Then I contact those first two commenters, probably by private message unless you request otherwise, and we settle the details.

Purchasers get to choose among the following flavors: Plain, blueberry, cranberry, mixed cran/blueberry, chocolate chip, almond-poppyseed or lemon-poppyseed. NO OTHER CHOICES.

The price is $10 for eight scones, plus $6 mailing cost. USA ORDERS ONLY, PLEASE. I ship USPS Priority Mail; outside the country, even to Canada, is too expensive.

ONE BATCH PER CUSTOMER, PLEASE. (I don't want one person grabbing both batches because that isn't fair.)

THE SALE WILL OPEN AT NOON TODAY, EASTERN STANDARD TIME. REQUESTS CAN BE PUT ON THIS CROSSPOST ON DREAMWIDTH OR LIVEJOURNAL. WHEN I GET TWO REQUESTS, THE SALE CLOSES FOR THE WEEK.

Love & Nomz,

Spider

P.S.: It seems there was a delay in delivery of last week's shipments. I've spoken with the Postal Service and the packages should be delivered shortly. Fortunately, I shipped the scones well wrapped and they should still be fine, but you can always put them in the toaster oven and refresh them.

THE SALE IS NOW OPEN
ONE DOWN, ONE TO GO
