A bit of bitching
For several reasons, the world is definitely not my oyster today -- or if it is, it's the bad one that makes you puke. But I'm not in the mood to talk about most of that right now. I'm just going to bitch about the latest True Blood a bit.
I hate fans who think because a character is good looking and they want to fuck him that means he can't do "bad" things. Listen, bitchez: Eric is a vampire. When he says the children are "delicious" he means delicious. If it were not for the political and legal repercussions, he would feed on them. He's not "teasing" Pam, he's not speaking metaphorically, he's not "joking". Just because you think he's cute and a woobie because he cried over Godric does not mean he would not feed on children. HE IS NOT BILL COMPTON. He is a thousand years old and probably has fed on babies in the cradle. DEAL WITH IT.
Also, anyone who bitches that Tara would run and try to save Eggs even though she's only known him for a few weeks has no idea how people really act. How many times has someone bailed on plans with friends because the current boyfriend/girlfriend/whatever wants to get together? Especially if you're like Tara who has so little experience of love in her life that when she finally finds it she's not about to jeopardize it. PLUS the fact that -- oh yeah! She's been BRAINWASHED into a fuckin' CULT.
