Well I am back to work, which deserves a very unenthusiastic and sarcastic "huzah". I so would rather not be here. Anywhere, but here. Even if it ment having some kind of completely unnesseccasry surgury, I would still rather do that. It's something everyone has to deal with in their working lives (at least I hope that's true), so I guess even I should have to deal with it as well.
This weekend was interesting. My brother has proven to be the master of all things back-handed and two-faced. It's absolutely amazing. We had a suprisingly excellent time while he was staying with me AND on the drive. I really couldn't believe it, we made the whole trip without so much as a raised voice (at least in anger, we definately raised our voices in laughter, anger at other people in other cars, and of course song); we even had some real deep conversations, where he "confessed" to wanting to better himself and prove to mom and dad that he is not the same kid he was. His speach/the conversation was so serious and "heart-felt" that I believed him, and tried to give him the best advice possible. Of course once we got to the house, it took him less then 24 hours to completely revert. I guess somethings you just can't expect to change. Maybe the year-plus he will have to live in Florida (not being able to afford to live anywhere else), with few friends, and my parents constantly on his back, he might actually grow up...or blow up, either way, I will most likely be better off.
So how about that crocodile hunter, huh? Sad stuff, but yet the funniest news ever. I just can't believe it was such a calm, non-violent death. I mean common, the guy survived croc attacks, shark attacks, kangaroo attacks, snake bites, koala rapings...pretty much anything that could happen to him, and he dies by an animal, that not only RARELY stings people, let alone kills people with those stings, but the thing managed to stab him right in the heart. Unbelieveable. There will be a made for TV movie on his life on the Animal Planet in about two months no doubt. And speaking of Animal Planet, anyone ever watch Mirkat Manor? It's a great show, and incredibly interesting, plus it makes me think of Timon from Lion King. Timon was awesome.
Ok, they are going to be asking me to take minutes at the meeting any minute now. Oy.
One week until I can register for birth right.
