I've decided it'd be extremely healthy for me to quit work soon because of my pint-up frustration against the suprovisors and not being able to scream "SHUT THE FUCK UP BITCH!" then proceeding to beat the living shit out of them is really affecting my brain in a seriously negative way

Ouch! :laugh: You have a right to be angry at her for blowing up at you when it was she who was obviously, completely, utterly and absolutely in the wrong. But don't sweat it, man. Just fuck it, she isn't worth your anger. Is a middle-age manager of the Smallisbury JC Penny shoe department even worth a drip of your anger? (No fucking way!)

Was it Althea who told you no books? That is cockbiting bullshit. I mean, we aren't supposed to because it doesn't look professional, but EVERYONE working under Michelle does it. I visit Misses Quad, there's Carrie reading her latest murder novel; and the girls in lingerie do nothing but read all day! There are stacks of books sitting right behind the counter, where they plant their butts and read CAUSE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE TO DO. -___- Lingerie is so boring.

Althea just... I don't know. Don't worry about her, just get through the summer and keep on. Nothing is going to bother her more than seeing you every single day. Hahaha, oh my god. Do you know how much power you have over her? Your mere presence upsets her, because it reminds her of that mistake she made last Sunday. Keep that in mind, and smile as you watch her turn purple and look for a reason to bust on you, knowing that she is only doing it to try and atone for her inexcuseable actions. Which she can't. So it's hilarious. And kinda pathetic. Torture of the mind is the sweetest revenge.

I don't know why it makes me so angry. It really shouldn't, because I know that's not the way I should handle the situation but it still drives me crazy for some reason. Blaaah.

Actually, Michelle told we weren't allowed to have books on the floor and I said, 'well, i didn't know that because i see other associates do it too.' And she told me to tell her when I see someone do that so she can tell them too. Psh, like I'm going to rat on them. But she just said put it away, although she sent Tyra after me afterwards. But I could tell Tyra really didn't give a shit.
