Well, chickies. We need to schedule photo shoots. I'm free in the mornings this week before 3pm. To my knowledge, because B&BW STILL haven't scheduled me, I'll be completely free on Tuesday and Wednesday. Buuuut in case B&BW calls me in, don't make it a definate.

I need everyone's free time and/or work schedule. Please?

I've realized that the AiW shoot is going to take several sessions. For one, there'll be Alice on the trampoline (1), random group shots taken outside (like Alice falling asleep with Diana in lap then chasing the White Rabbit, Alice looking around with Cheshire/WR in background, those sorta things) (2), random group shots INside (this will probably be at an antique store in downtown salisbury bc of the random furniture and lots of mirrors) (3), Alice in front of fan with cards flying at her (4), Cheshire with playing cards (4), A,C&WR playing cards together (4), A,C&WR playing croquet with flamigoes and hedgehogs (5), somehow, have Alice be with objects that are insanely large to make her look small, with an earlier shoot of the bottle and the piece of ...whatever it is, a mushroom? (6).

There's more. I just can't think of any. Just because Alice in Wonderland makes such great conceptual art too.

We might need a Queen of Hearts and a Madhatter as well. Maybe Chelsea and Emily could join...

And I need ideas for Amy's Cheshire outfit. I don't want it to be distinctly Disney or the video game version of the Cheshire cat or a mixture of the two.

Hit me up with ideas!!!

Today you'll learn the differences between a corset, bustier and a bodice so you can stop using them interchangeably.

A corset is made to restrict. The minimum amount of inches a corset restricts is 4. If it is below 4 inches then it is either a 'corselet' or an improperly made corset. One thing you should note is that a corset DOES re-align your organs. This not harmful for your organs will re-align themselves once you take off the corset, unless you continueously wear a corset and for extended periods of time then maybe, it'll become semi-permanent.

During the Victorian era, girls would start wearing corsets around the age of 4. They would wear like a "starter corset" like we today have training bras. So by the time they could wear a real corset, their ribs and organs would actually be in the relative form of the corset.

Also, the original corsets were made with whale bone instead of plastic boning. Next time you eat chicken on the bone, take one of those bones. Hold it in your hand and get a feel for it. Now, imagine that bone in a corset that's 4 sizes too small for you. Yeah. It hurts like that.

Although supposedly, the modern corset is supposed to restrict but not be uncomfortable, you know its a real corset only when you can't breathe.

Remember chickies, a corset is not a suitable diet plan. While you'll never want to eat with it on, you shouldn't use a corset as a means of losing weight. You only get inches off with a corset.

A Bustier is made to look like a corset, however it does NOT restrict the individual's tummy. It's all the fashion and glam of a corset, except your tummy hangs out of it. :)

A Bodice is the oldest. A bodice, unlike the corset and bustier, is a top not an undergarment. The bodice tends to flatten instead of pull in (like the corset) and push up the breast. While a corset does similar, a bodice generally doesn't hurt.

At Renn Faire, you wear bodices. In a club or under a dress or a photo shoot with me, you wear a corset. In the bedroom, you wear a bustier.

Then you go chickies, you learned something today. Tune in next week and I'll teach you how to boil water! Yeah!
