Not already!?
It's hard to believe how quickly Halloween has come and gone and the fact that's it's already November. Earlier today I was about to light my pumpkin, when I suddenly became aware of an awful scent wafting around. I think you can guess where it came from. And you are absolutely right.
I lifted the pumpkin to discover that the whole of the bottom was going mouldy, leaving the most disguisting smell about. Yuck. =P
I gave a pass on lighting it, and chucked it in the bin outside. It seemed such a shame - I only carved it on Tuesday and was planning to keep it for at least another week, but I guess I was wrong. I gave the poor little fellow one last apprehensive look, before shutting the bin lid, never to see him again. =(
