The milkshakes appeared almost as if by magic between Hudson and the girl, looking tall and thick enough to eat with a spoon. He gestured for her to take one and began trying to suck up the other one with the straw provided.

He growled low in his throat, and one of the patrons in the next booth moved away unconciously, the way you might shy away from a large dog without even thinking about it.
