William looked at the lines of bright red paint slopped across the locker room floor, leaning slightly on the handle of his mop. With a soft sigh, he climbed onto one of the benches to get a better look

Zane stumbled into the room shortly after, holding his glasses in hand and muttering something under his breath about a guy called Miller. Things had been going so well lately, why did he have to start picking it up again when Montana and Talia weren't around to keep him in check? Was it just to prove to his new buddies he was hip and cool?

Hip and cool, I sound like my mom. He stopped when something blurry and color changing swarmed his vision. "Whoa..."

A bit of fumbling, and the glasses were back on again. ...It didn't help, things were still color-changing and swirly. Oh, and strange janitor dude was here too.

Did he do this? Zane knew there was something off about that guy, maybe he - no, not here. Not as anything other than J2, or he'd blow his cover. Play it cool, Yama, play it cool.

"Whoa. That's not good."

"Try not to step on it!" William called from his perch. "I-it might still be wet, or something," he added hastily.

Zane refrained from eyerolling. Man, he must have 'born yesterday' painted on his forehead.

"I - I don't think that's paint!" he called back, looking nervous. "Maybe we should call the cops, or - or the Avengers."

Oh god, if there was one thing William didn't want, it was that. "The principle has already been told about this," he said. "He'll decide what steps need to be taken." Climbing off the bench, carefully avoiding stepping on the drawing, William grabbed the mop from the bucket and gave the line in front of him an experimental going over.

It actually smeared a little bit.
