Well, our annual Memorial Weekend party is in the books. Another big sucess!
We had nearly 40 people here and so much food and drink. Amazingly, there is nearly nothing left! These people can suck down food and booze, let me tell you. Everyone brought something to share and that is so much fun. Friends from Cleveland came and spent the night. We ate breakfast at Bob's this morning....all hung over and looking lovely.
Today has been the big clean up which wasn't too bad. People helped collect dishes last night, so this morning was alot of washing.
Saturday was Zombie Walk and what fun that was. There were about 200 people dressed and made-up as zombies walking through the Short North area. All along the streets were cameras and smiling faces as we staggered along. It was a blast!
Went out Sat. night and was not surprised at my boredom. I have no interest in these kids, their eyes have no spark and their smiles are empty. Desparation is in the air.... I did dance a bit, which made me happy.
So a jam-packed weekend full of fun.
This week will be so busy at work. End of month is always a nightmare. Maybe if our numbers stay up our rich, stingy boss will eak our raises. Something would be nice as we have all been rather dedicated. It's an easy job though. Low, low stress. Just not enough money or mental stimulation. Ick.
Off to lay around a little more....or I should do laundry.
