aww why?
Okay so after the first day of orientation I couldn't wait for it to be over, and now that it is I'm sad. I had to get up at six and sit through boring presentations and walk all over campus and not get home till like 5:30, but I guess I got used to it. The first day we were at Magoffin just listening to people talk, then they had this game show type thing, it was pretty fun but you had to participate so you wouldn't get bored. Then lunch then we took a tour. There were a lot of presentations some boring, actually most of them, then we got put into groups depending on our major. We were in a lab and actually doing stuff. We made a magnet and got to play with liquid nitrogen, hehe it was fun. The math workshops were super boring and they didn't help for shit. We did have to do a presentation but only to the people in the pre-science major, it wasn't a lot, but I think my group sucked only because we didn't really do an experiment we just made something. It was pretty fun though especially meeting new people like Cassandra and Eddie and Chris and Josh, who took my epitaph button. At first we was kind of an ass but then today, he wanted me to go back with him to get his schedule so I did, and we ended up hanging out for two hours. We got his schedule, then I told him I was going to the bookstore and he was like do you mind if I come with you? I said no it's cool. So once we got bored at there we went to the Centennial Musuem, and yeah it's still the same. Then we went to the Miners Hall then to the Undergraduate Learning Center then back to Union. He had to leave around 12 though cause he was going to go have lunch with his family lol. He's really funny and yeah anyway, the orientation leaders were pretty cool. I've made friends with them too. What's weird is that they said the best coping mechanism is to act like a kid, which is weird because shouldn't you be more mature in college? But they're still cool. So yeah, I think I might end up majoring in microbiology, I'm not completely certain yet. So I go my schedule, and everyday except for mondays I'll be done by 1:30. So yeah there's my update. I can wait for school to start. Later
