*mikoto is outside of an arcade--and outside of that arcade is a ufo catcher. a ufo catcher that's been occupied by mikoto for the past hour. at her side on the floor are a few stuffed animals, but she's still at it for some reason. she watches the claw intently as she moves the joystick carefully, finally hitting the button when she thinks the time is right--and she succeeds! the claw grabs onto a stuffed weasel, dropping it into the chute for mikoto to claim. but instead of praising herself for winning yet another prize, she throws her hands up and kicks the machine, causing it to shake violently.*
