Life now.
Bonnaroo....I guess I really am too lazy to write about it here. But maybe stories will show up randomly some day. Needless to say it was the best experience of my life, the most fun I have ever had. We got there a day early with all the hardcore hippie/wookie kids, parked on the side of the road and made a family. A van pulled up and out came a bunch of kids, who became our new family, bringing us cold beers, and later a tarp set up next to our campsite, which became the "common area" of Camp Lightning Wookiefoot. Bolded ones are some of my favorites, but I had such a great time the whole time I was there that it's hard to pin it down.
In other news I am officially dropped out of school as of yesterday, I have contacted all of my loan people, have figured it all out, and now need to find a second job, so I can free myself of debt ASAP and be really free to do whatever the hell I want. Most likely this will include traveling with bands/festivals, moving to San Francisco, traveling around the world, learning different trades/skills with my hands and making my way through life this way....returning to creating art and writing. I am incredibly happy with my decision. School is not for me, at least not right now, I can always go back.
I have to work today through Tuesday, but I need the money. I also spent quality time with friends since I've been back from Bonnaroo. Walking from home to Coolidge Corner, from there to Simmons, from Simmons back to Coolidge Corner, and from there to Hynes Convention Center, from there to Fenway AMC, and from there home. Smoking a joint and celebrating Stasha's birthday 3 days early via a cake from JP Licks, watching neighbors transact sketchy as hell drug deals. Rereading Alice's Adventure's in Wonderland + Through the Looking Glass. Walking around in my underwear, enjoying the leg/armpit hair regrow. Snuggling with Kittybones until the suffocating body heat makes us roll over in disgust of one another.
