So, just had dinner and I'm quite happy at the moment.
I had my first response from Bristol Universities - YAY - I thought it was an offer but it was just a confirmation of receipt of my application. Ah well, something is actually happening seeing as UCAS track isn't online yet.
Today has been quite a good day in the scheme of things. Had maths - meh, then a free - meh, then it was the all-rockin National Emily Partridge day party in history. she didn't clear up the balloons though so I don't know who did.
Then double geography which is always good - a reasonable way to round off the week. Had a cup of tea, debated about different countries' rates of development and communism. Then Mrs Davison read us her little extract from the Dalai Lama which said to bring happiness to people in your lifetime so she made us all hug each other - I hugged Emma. Hammy and Will looked mortified. By the way, Hammy was wearing this jumper which must have been for a bet because it was a grey tank top with the golfy pattern diamonds in burgundy and sugar pink. It did quite suit him though - a strange one that Hammy. Did you know that if an earthquake goes above something like 10 on the richter scale the rocks would just melt?- wouldn't that be so cool. Then Doc Coles rang up Mr Willet to ask him about seismic waves - like Mr Willet is going to know! Ahh Damn, I didn't get to wish Mrs Colombini luck in forcing her undoubtedly large baby out. Never mind.
Then I got the bus home with Emily my bus buddy but we could hardly have a conversation becase of the fucking loud year sevens who were like a bunch of squaking parrots. My God I hate small children - glad I was never one.
Anyway, so yeah, half term. I just wrote myself a list of all the stuff to do over the week and I thought I didn't have much but I really do, dammit.
I'd better go and start it now. I think my parents must have slipped prosac into my food I'm really bouncy - won't last for long.
