First Finished Knit Project

As a couple of you may know, I recently took up knitting. It's fun, though slow, but overall very satisfying. Especially when a project finally comes together. Here's my first finished piece!

Congrats on your first finished knitting! Isn't it so satisfying to finish a piece? It's lovely, and I'm sure your friend will truly appreciate it. Hooray, fringe! Putting on the fringe is my favorite part.

As an aside, I knit Garrett a scarf as a Christmas gift a few years ago, but he never wore it. Then one day we went camping in Big Bend in January, and let me just say that the desert flats on a winter morning can be a cruel, cruel place. That scarf got excellent wearage for several days.

I reckon you should live some place that is actually cold to wear a scarf. NYC is a good start.
