Today was wonderful!Amazing! Terrific! I had a blast and can't wait for the next convention! Some of the cosplay was breathtakingly gorgeous. Others were so intricate and precise. There were many versions of the same charatersyet each cosplayer manager to make them uniquely different. I will admit it was more of my dad's kind of thing than mine. Seeing as how he was always a super hero and comic book fan, where I am addicted to the Japanese versions. The booths that amazed me the most were the ones with the Japanese themes, such as the kimonos, chopsticks, accessories, and manga/anime.I really want to go to Comicon even more this year!
Around 4:15 we got a text from the steps saying they were done, so off we went to pick them up. We then went to Fogo de Chao a Brazilian Steakhouse. Stuffed ourselfes silly and then drove back up to the tip of IL, right on the border of WI, about an hour drive since traffic was good. :)
Now, im at home chilling with my kittens writing this up and then heading to bed. According to my fitbit I had 7,750 steps, 3.24 miles, 15 flights of stairs, and that was on 3.5 hours of sleep. :)
Here are some pics of what I got at C2E2.
All the things: the lanyard and badge, the Harry Potter bracelet, chopsticks, and a cat-ear headband.
Here is a closer look and the gorgeous bracelet
I am one happy camper XD
