yukikaze is my new love
well it was love at first sight--i actually HAVE the newtype magazine issue where they featured yukikaze, and i LOVED both of the protagonists as soon as i saw them. the issue is...REALLY old. and i decided to watch it, finally, and wow.
lol it's called 'rei angry' because he looked pretty pissed when i started the drawing >_>''
currently pondering what kind of coloring style to use...hmm.
but not only that--yukikaze won the best OVA award two different years, for good reason...the show's animation quality is FLAWLESS, and while i usually hate CG machines in anime shows, yukikaze manages to pull it off beautifully and gracefully, and i lovelovelove the action scenes so much.
BU T I LOVE THESE TWO EVEN MOREEEE
truly a match made in heaven.
i was seriously ogling at my fucking computer screen during a brief exchange between rei and jack (when the latter flashes a small smile) and i was giggling like a retard, omg it was so stupid but ..wait you didnt need to know that.
every shot of rei and jack should be like, printed on huge posters and framed and hung in the louvre because those guys are GORGEOUS.
WHY IS IT ONLY 5 EPISODESSSS WHYYYYYYY ;__; i even joined the rei and jack LJ community, ahoy!
back to giddy drawing mode! i love fandoms--they only help to fuel drawing highs <3
