Let the crazy out
First time ever working the Circ desk for the official start of Summer Reading, I can say only this:
Holy crap that was crazy.
Tons of people like you wouldn't believe. We had just about every staff member at the desk save for the Children's librarian/liaison who were both running around trying to keep the programs running smoothly.
Crazy, crazy...
It shall be interesting to see what kind of turnout we have once August rolls round. The Teen's Summer Reading is already pushing over a thousand book reviews turned in, so I expect that it won't be too long before we have a bunch of little kids coming back with their reading slips wanting their free book.
