[news!scanlations] Policy Change + Updates + Future Projects

I'm not interested in having any of my scanlations rescanlated into other languages. For one thing, most of my scans now come from my own personal manga collection and I do not wish for them to be used for rescanlations. For another, I don't think my translations are strong enough to hold up to being retranslated. (I'm not that good yet and I use Americanisms out the wazoo.) And, while I was initially willing to okay transcripts of my scanlations, recent events have led me to rethink this policy
So, due to having problems, again, with people reposting chapters and claiming my scans as their own, I've decided to change the way I post up scanlations. And since I really, really would prefer not to do watermarks, as ruining the pretty sorta ruins the point of things...
From now on, all posts made on my journal will be F-Locked after 5 days. In the case of ongoings, this means that only the newest chapter will be available. (...Unless I'm really bored, have a long weekend off work, and am moving like a lightning ninja.)

Now, for the fun stuff!!
PersonA should finally, finally come in the mail tomorrow! (Yay!) And I do have a really long weekend off work coming up for the holiday! (Yay!) And I may have just peeked at Renai Revolution's site and it looks like we may just be getting to that part of the route! (Smexy times!)
But, it's still going to be a big boy at 90 pages worth of awesome so it will likely take a bit before I actually get it completed. (Ack!)
However. Given the length between releases of PersonA, once I get things done, this leads us to the other fun part of this equation. As I have a couple of prospects for possible future scanlations that I would really love to pick up.
Garnet Cradle ~Aria of Moonlight~
Contender #1 : Princes, Arabian fantasy, girl from another world scenario, a catboy - there is so much I love about this series and I finally, finally managed to get my hands on the manga. XDD
Jyuzaengi ~Engetsu Sangokuden~
Contender #2 : Fighting, politics, one of the best otome heroines I've encountered yet, and more catboys - I was actually under the impression that this was a light novel series until I picked up the Vol. 2 purely for the sake of the bonus Drama CD. On the downside Vol. 1 is still in shipping limbo and, as I did some digging, there does seem to be a group who has picked this one up (though they appear to have stalled?) so I might wait a bit on this one regardless just so I don't step on any toes.
