Review, thoughts, and other fangirling: AMNESIA - Episode 2

Bro-bump.

Ahh... Ikki and Kent are so awesome individually it's easy to forget how dorky they act when they're together. I only wish we had gotten a better look at just how they wound up in a swan boat together since that scene flashed by so fast. (Seeing as they were playing othello on the train a part of me wants to say Kent must of won and Ikki got swan paddling duty as the penalty.)

So, while it does look like Orion was seeing the memories that the Heroine was seeing. I'm still not convinced that they're really memories: A) Kent didn't know what she was talking about when she mentioned the festival. B) We're still getting hits across the board. C) Technically she's been seeing the future in a couple of them.

Of which, point C becomes particularly interesting now that it seems that we've gone back in time to August 1st... of Heart. (And sans Orion?! Holy crap is she screwed!)

It makes me wonder if we're going to do some world jumping before coming back to where we started? (In theory to get the uninitiated viewer an understanding of the bigger picture.) But now I'm also curious as to just how far we're going to get in the month in each world. Only as far as the 4th? ...Which admittedly would make more sense chronologically but no sense at all considering that most of the bigger revelations happen deeper into the month. But, Hell, seeing as we've gone back once we might be in for jumps all over the month.

Which also means we're probably in for that damned cage again. Arugh!!

On an entirely different note. Eee~ Ukyo! Black and White in this episode! And the obligatory - 'Do you remember me?'

(As to the 'zawazawa' line... I'd like think that Orion might be feeling Neal's proximity. But. We haven't even started to go there yet...)

Still, for all that he's not my favorite and a part of me had initially wanted to throw a fit at the idea of an Amnesia anime since Shin is sorta billed as the 'canon' route...

I am looking forward to seeing how far we go in Heart. Shin really is a good character to start with. He's just so sharp tongued most of the time that you don't realize how good of a person he is until after you do his route. So, hopefully, this should paint him in a better light for the rest of the series rather than saving him for last.

'Cause Ukyo's going to be last so I can get my Joker squees canonized.
