Yuletide Reveal 2011
Happy New Year everyone!!
Celebrating a bit of 2012 cheer with my reveals for the 2011 Yuletide spree!
This year I got matched with Noein! A mystical, futuristic, SciFi, friendship-y bit of awesome, if you haven't watched Noein yet I highly, highly recommend it because it's just that good.
I cried. Seriously.
So an excellent series that I'd never written for before with a nicely framed, but wide-ended prompt and, for the first time since I've started Yuletide, a recipient whom I could lurk after for further inspiration with extreme ease? Oh yes. I had oodles and oodles of fun this year.

Summary: For Yuu the future has an infinite number of choices, for Noein there's only one.
**WARNINGS: CHARACTER DEATH AND SPOILERS LIKE WHOA**
Author's Notes: What do you write for the undisputed Queen of a fandom? Well. There's always AU; or, in my case, a multiple AU explanation of a thought that had been bugging me post a ceremonial rewatch of Noein: Just how does Noein finally snap? Thus a fic is born! (*cough* With title blatantly stolen from Gintama because it worked so very well.)
Their first kiss isn't beautiful.

Summary: Luckily, Miho had always had a certain fondness for odd things.
Author's Notes: Cute and fluffy Madness drabble 'cause, quite frankly, I was half-terrified that my angst-riddled, kill Fill fic would Go Over Poorly. (And just giving angst for Christmas seems like a scrooge thing to do.)
Atori has always been something of an odd bird, or rather, an odd and slightly homicidal bird.
For references purposes, and also perhaps for people who may not have seen them yet, I also have a batch of short little Yulelog drabbles spanning Zettai Meikyuu Grimm, Heart no Kuni, and Okashi na Shima no Peter Pan that were done for the season as well.

On the receiving end of things I got a wonderful, wonderful Provost's Dog fic that is now going down in my head-canon of what happens to Beka post-Mastiff, specifically addressing Farmer and how he fits into her world.

There are no words. It just fits so very well and is so very true to character. An excellent fic all around!

Summary: A post-Mastiff epilogue, picking up from after the palace day.

Overall? A lot of fun was had this year. Though, I still can't believe my internets died like that. Ack. I was off a wee bit before Christmas but it's hard to try and comb for Madness while nothing connects.
New Year's Resolution #1 Get Working Internet!
New Year's Resolution #2 Errr. Write more. Finish some more challenge ficcage! And for Heaven's sake work some on my Joker fic. Also would really like some Starry Sky and Garnet Cradle fic. I'll make it a goal to at least do a little something for those. Ooh, and some Peter Pan fic too. (I want some Peter / Wendy and Scissor / Wendy fic like you would not believe!)
