I had a good weekend.
Friday night I went over to Gabby/Jujus and hung out with Juju and Ivan. We stayed up all night with some movie watching and chit chat.
Woke up on Saturday around 2pm. Spent some time helping put up bird spikes and screens to keep the pigeons from shitting on the porch. This went pretty well, but now I realize that we missed two little spots where the birds can still sit and take shits on the porch. So, that sucks.
After that I finished up the Amish friendship bread that Gabby had started. I baked 2 loaves and made some starter kits to give to other people. The bread turned out great. It was moist, tasty, and sweet. Good shit. I'm looking forward to making some at my house now with my starter kit. I think I'll do that on Monday.
Saturday night I went and picked up the Juj and we went to Dirty Little Secrets, a small undeground house party in the city. The location was at a kind of dance studio, which I liked. The music was pretty good, but the spot got hot.
About 3:45am we headed over to the Endup for the rest of Doc Martin's birthday set. We hung there until like 6/7am. Woke up with a nice spicy bloody mary from the bar. After that we went and hung with Ivan a bit at his hotel room. Had some chats and then headed home. I think I feel asleep around 10am.
Woke up at 5pm tonight, got my shit together and headed back to my house.
Now I'm sitting in the front room watching WEC fights with my roommates, still enjoying the afterglow from the night's events.
Good times. Much more weekends like this needed.
