Here's what happened next.

So I've been working for this company for... a... while...

It's not the potentially unethical business practices that get to me. Nor could I really say it's the unending ebb and flow of mundane tasks accompanied by self righteous assholes demanding that -I- make the company do something for them. It's just the time, the mind boggling staggering amounts of time I put in at work to receive pay.

I don't need this much money.

In fact I'm hard pressed to think of appropriate ways to spend it since after the debacle that was Arizona I feel the need to have a personal savings rate of about 40% and spending any of it feels dirty unless it's on someone else. My costs are low, my need are few, my entertainment budget is 15 dollars a month not counting my share of the internet bill.

Now, I just got done putting in another 49 Hour work week and just a little while ago a friend called me to collect on some debt. Even though I could easily afford it I didn't pay him back in full, I spread it out in payments because that's more sound and gives me a bigger buffer against food and... stuff... Why am I so paranoid? It's a little unjustified...

Then again I'm one of three people paying for the mortgage on this house and I suppose we can't -really- afford for me to just suddenly no longer have money. I just really can't take getting off work at 10pm much longer, it's driving me bonkers. I finally adjusted myself to an early morning schedule and this is throwing a wrench in my body rhythm

But I suppose it's not that important for right now, I can survive if I absolutely -have- to.

Cthulhu had puppies, nine of them, one boy and eight girls. I like the one we named Mother Hydra, she's the unique one in fur pattern. 9 puppies in this house is just... I don't know...

WoW is good. I'm a well respected member of my internet community and slowly becoming a Name as I try a few organizational projects. I've yet to miss Saurfang in any week since Christmas so that's pretty chill.

But that's it, this is all my life is right now. Wake up, run a daily, go to work, come home, level a shaman.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

I think I can hear Disney's Belle singing about wanting more than this provincial life. Of course on the other side the only thing I could really add to the regimen would be going to a bar and drinking or adding more human drama which is about the last thing I want.

Until I have more money that is...

Well now doesn't that just suck.
