i am proud to say i rocked harder than anyone else at ted leo tonight. rachel will back me up on this. and surprisingly (although i have no idea how big or not he is in the Uk at all, so maybe it shouldn't be that surprising) the gig was maybe only 1/2 to 3/4 full. with how tiny tuts is, i would've thought it would've been closer to sold out...at ( Read more... )

ted was one of the highlights of the fest i went to in barcelona last month. so so good. even bomb. repeat. bomb. was enjoyable live.

oh, and increasing prices by a pound is nothing: to see the rapture last week in moscow, advance tickets cost 1500 rubles ($58). at the door, they were 1700 ($65). and that pricing scheme is by no means unusual.

damn. that is really expensive. is that all gigs or just the ones for overhyped bands?

a lot of gigs (especially at b1 -- www.b1club.ru) are that absurdly priced. you can look through ticket listings online in english here to see what tix cost for other shit: http://web.ticketstream.cz/ruts/site.frame.jsp?thread=
