dude, i'm spending so much time on the net here it's crazy! :P
paul is getting a foot massage at the moment so i'm at the net cafe killing time.
i would upload more photos but although i borrowed a card reader, the camera is locked in my bag... and paul has the keys to it :P

so you get my ramblings instead!

today was our last full day in sabah... dude i love this place it will be hard to leave :( we leave for kl at midday tommorrow (and have most of the morning filled up with airport check in and transfers) then it's two nights in kl and back home on friday :(

today has been a very cruisy day. we slept in (very rare occurance for us this holiday cos we often have to wake up in time for tours and transfers) and had a late breakfast. chatted to one of the waitresses who serves us every morning :) she's so cool. then we watched a random chinese movie (with a dodgy english dub) about two sisters who worked in crime and a team of rookie cops. it was quite good actually.

paul went wake boarding in the afternoon - he had never done it before but in his half our of trying he got pretty good. hanging on with one hand, turning corners etc. plenty of face plants into the water and stuff first tho :P i got quite a few pics and one video

this evening we had a sunset cruise (it was meant to the be last night but was postponed because of bad weather). paul and i were the only paying customers on the boat (that held about 40 ppl) so we got the whole of the front of the ship to ourselves to watch the sun go down. was cool although paul felt a little seasick when we were just sitting still on the water.

we had dinner in kk at a seafood restaurant. you go in the entrance where there are lots of tanks of all kinds of seafood with their price by weight. you pick out which one/s you want to eat, then the guys who work there grab them out of the tank, put them in the boiling hot water and you pick what sauce you want it with.
sometimes i'm glad i'm a vegetarian.
paul had a lobster - happy told us he had to try it while we were here because it's good and cheap. i had sabah vegetables with egg and rice. they had traditional dances throughout the night too - was quite cool.

before coming to the net cafe we bought some popcorn that we've been eying off for the last week - caramel and grape flavoured popcorn for RM2 (less than $1AU) mmmmmmmmmm sooooooo good! eating it now :)

paul just called from the massage place. apparantly it's really good.

anyway, the net cafe closes in 2 minutes so i better get off.

*hugs* might update in kl otherwise see u when i get home!
