holy crap. i was just watching the democratic national convention, and man, this guy barack obama, senator from illinois, he is something else. he gave one of the most incredible speeches i've ever heard. he rocked. and i think we'll be watching him for a while. and now ron reagan just spoke about stem cell research. good stuff. i'm really getting excited about the election. there's such a message of hope in the convention, it's really great.

travis has found the holiday inn, just a few short blocks away from the hyatt and marriott (the con hotels) for 89 bucks a night. a substantial price drop without much sacrifice. and the con's just over a month away, so we've really got to get our shit together. this saturday, i to go to europe for two weeks, so i really need to get this stuff together with the quickness.
