I was looking for a humourous Doctor/Rose icon, and this one immediately stood out. I like it because it pokes gentle fun at shippers who tend to blow things out of proportion, and yet this scene was legitimately shippy, so we aren't all that crazy! Ten and Rose talk about their first date in this scene, and remembering that gives me the warm fuzzies.

When I saw Thor last summer, I was quite taken with the story and the characters. I immediately went home and started looking for fic. To my surprise, several of the fics paired Loki with Sif, two characters who had shared little screentime. I knew from Norse mythology that Sif is Thor's wife, so I was intrigued. I read All the Reasons I Gave and Paper Planes & Playground Games, and the rest was history.

When I first started watching The Big Bang Theory, I was captivated by Sheldon and Penny's dynamic. I quickly realized that a romantic relationship between them would likely never be explored on the show, so I turned to fanfiction. I still love their friendship and enjoy watching them interact. In this moment, they joke about being an old married couple, which was very cute.

As I said earlier, I went looking for fic after seeing Thor. A lot of people found that the Thor/Jane relationship was underdeveloped, but I find that I tend to like these types of relationships - there is so much potential for fic, since there is so much 'space' to be filled. Also, I thought they were adorable together. ♥ Plus any movie that passes the Bechdel test gets extra points in my book!

I have recently become a fan of Tom Hiddleston since seeing him in Loki and after watching several of his interviews. He seems very down-to-earth and like a genuinely nice person. Hopefully having this icon doesn't mark me as a Hiddlestoner. XD
