Nooo an impossible choice! Quid pro quo I guess lol.
Fandom-wise, I have to choose Doctor Who. I've been involved with it for longer and I keep coming back to it. :3
Harry Potter
1. The first character I fell in love with Hermione. Like many fans, I identified with the brainy bookworm right away. 2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now Kreacher. Finding out the truth of his story was heartbreaking. I loved how after the Trio showed him kindness, he took it upon himself to take care of them. 3. The character everyone else loves that I don't Can't think of any atm, sorry! 4. The character I love that everyone else hates Ginny. She gets so much hate even 5 years later. :-/ 5. The character I used to love but don't any longer Draco Malfoy. Until we found out his parents aren't really abusive and he's just an entitled racist jackass. I like to think he got a little more tolerant after the war however. 6. The character I would shag anytime Sirius Black, pre-war. 7. The character I'd want to be like McGonagall. She's tough and doesn't take anyone's shit. 8. The character I'd slap Umbridge. How I love to hate her... 9. A pairing that I love Ron/Hermione. I also love James/Lily and Neville/Luna, and have a soft spot for Rose/Scorpius. 10. A pairing that I despise I used to hate Harry/Hermione... now I'm mostly indifferent. Ship and let ship!
and also, if I can remember: 11. Why it piqued my interest in the first place My dad heard about the books on CBC radio, and managed to reserve the first 3 at the library. After reading GoF, I went through a painful withdrawal and went online to fill the void. Despite reading a lot of badfic, I think I emerged mostly sane. 12. A favorite thing about it now That I can pick up any of the books and get sucked right back into the magic.
Yeah... I didn't have a lot of gripes with DH, but one of them was the blanket assumption that all Slytherins were traitors and must leave Hogwarts because of something Pansy Parkinson said. Just one loyal Slytherin would have been nice. ;_;
