Doctor Who
1. The first character I fell in love with
Ten. I watched TCI and was totally hooked.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Mickey! He grew so much from S1 and becomes a total boss in Pete's World.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't
Hmm... probably Amy. I don't hate her, I just feel like I don't know her, even after 2 years.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates
I love Rose, who is loathed by a lot of online fans. I feel validated that casual fans often identify her as the favourite companion in online polls. :D
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer
River. Was indifferent in S4, loved her in S5, and S6... was a trainwreck.

Jack, since he'd be up for it anytime. ;-)
7. The character I'd want to be like
Martha. She's probably the smartest companion, and is incredibly brave.
8. The character I'd slap
Eleven, for his extreme douchiness throughout S6.

Doctor/Rose! I don't go in much for Eleven/Rose but I'm open to many other pairings.

Ten/River. I find it really hard to imagine Ten falling for anyone besides Rose.

11. Why it piqued my interest in the first place
Through fanfic, oddly enough. In July 2008 I was on the Pit of Voles browsing a fairly talented author's page, and noticed she'd written a lot for Doctor Who. I read one of the Doctor/Rose fics and was intrigued. So I found JE on YouTube, which was a terrible idea since I had NO IDEA who anyone was. I went back and watched "Rose", then jumped ahead to TCI. And the rest was history.
