When It Rains
This has been a rather exciting weekend, and one I don't wish to repeat xD Hell, the entire week has pretty much been a drama fest. Apart from being accused that I'm a selfish bitch (co-workers think that because I have no children, I have nothing to do in the mornings and Saturdays and were PISSED at me when I took the 10:30 - 7:30 pm shift with Sat/Sun off.) this weekend has had:
1) Heart problems. My heart started acting up like mad on Friday afternoon. I still don't know if i ate something that set it off, or if it's just doing this at random. Yes I called my doctor. I'm taking meds, but this still makes me really weak and lethargic. I've spent the last two days of work doing absolutely NOTHING. Not good for someone who likes to be a part of things.
2) My Mom's cat bit me Friday night. He and my cat, Binx, had a dislike for one another. On Friday, Tut ran around me and started attacking Binx - it went from bullying to outright "I plan to kill you". In fear for Binx's life, I did the first thing I could think of and pulled Tut off of him. Tut turned around and bit the hell out of me. My wrist is incredibly swollen, but I think it's getting better. I've been on antibiotics and washing it every day to keep infection from getting to it.
3) My Mac crashed yesterday. It wasn't a HUGE loss, but I did lose some stories I was working on :(
I've pretty much done nothing but console myself with Harry Potter fanfiction for the day. I'm useless.
Speaking of HP fanfiction: It dawned on me tonight it's a shame there is no Grindeldore Big Bang. (Or, if Big Bangs aren't your thing, something similar!) We might not have a huge following, such as Draco/Harry or Remus/Sirius, but there's some very talented authors and artists in that fandom. And we have two long fics. This has got to be altered somehow xD I've seen smaller fandoms have some pretty successful ones, so I wonder if I would be out of place to suggest something like that.
