The Brave New World Boogie

Basically what happened is that it turned out that our government is not only a lying thieving bunch of the most craptastic ensemble of individuals in sore need of a good beating and being sodomized with spiky maces (we sort of knew that already), but they also seriously don't give a flying fuck about maintaining any sort of pretense of knowing what the word 'decorum' even means. Or sanity, for that matter.
In short, I'm pretty furious, despite the fact that we all saw this coming. We just sort of couldn't believe it until now. You see, we used to have a system where you were required to have a private pension fund, because people caught on to the fact that the state pension system was simply not enough anymore, because taxes were already high and the elderly got more and more of our demographic pie chart over time. The first thing this shit pile of a government did was taking away those funds. They had all that money transferred to the state's pocket with the single strike of a pen, which is about as good as dumping it into a wormhole to Alderaan.
The concept was that you could decide to stay on the private fund at a much higher cost or transfer to state financing. It also envisioned that everyone would have a separate account at the office overseeing pensions and that money would be accessible to the individual much like it was before. Let's face it, it doesn't take a genius to see something is rotten in the state of Hungary. We just didn't quite know where the trick was. Because there had to be one.
It turns out "We are so magnificent at this 'ruling you people' thing that you actually don't even need that money anymore so wave it goodbye" cost me 300€ (thank god I was only employed for a year at that time). That might not seem much, but it's a month's salary well above the minimum wage. I cannot even begin to imagine the people who have been saving money in those funds for decades, were close to retiring even. People must've lost horrible amounts of money over this grand scale robbery that must be rather commonplace in other fortunate nations like, I don't know, Fuckyouistan. Or something.
Between the government monopolizing meteorology (yes, you heard that right), suing people for angry comments and putting forward the idea of facilitating dating opportunities for young people (because finding you a suitable young opposite sex partner is srs national bzns and our top priority here at the Brave New World) I guess people just can't. I sure don't even blame them.
