Holy Heaven
Saw MUCC. Live. Up close. And just... Guh. I SAW MUCC OH MY GAWD. *flails*
Good. God. Was that good. Totally the best concert I've ever been to, hands down. Granted, we had to endure a day of the universe pissing on us, to the point where one and a half hours before the concert I just wanted a shower and a pillow. But will to live and some pixie dust did the trick and I really did have a blast. The venue was tiny and half empty. The audience was literally fifty to a hundred people, and at first I was really worried how this will turn out, but in the end the people rocked it hard and the band seemed to have a fun time too, so all was well. (Was especially floored by how Miya, perpetually stoned looking guy that he is, was jumping around like a bunny on speed, encouraging the audience, showing off, making rather... distracting faces and at a certain point deciding to imitate a dog chasing its own tail. Then again, he did mention Red Bull on his twitter...)
Tatsu was having an ego trip. Seriously, I think I saw him grow an extra two centimeters by the end. His voice was amazing live, much more so than I expected. He was also so wickedly handsome, yet cute. I never thought I would ever call him cute, but he was, Jack Sparrow hair or not. Generally, everything about the concert was much better than I expected. They fixed the lights so we actually could see Sato behind the drums (definitely cuter live, good GOD), and Yukke and Miya kept on switching sides, so we got our fix of pretty from both. Sadly, after shooting these two vids my camera died. Later on we got even closer to the stage (not that it was hard), but I only have crappy cell phone shots of that which need editing, so shall post some laters.
Despite our numbers, I believe we were a really good audience (that's a first in my list of jrock experiences) and apparently loud too, if Miya's twitter is anything to go by. ("THX!! Hungarian MUCCERs. Very very LOUD audience!! I'll be back!!") Also, the band interacted a lot with the audience (thank you, whoever thaught them English), giving their separate greetings and a few words. Tatsu also tried to speak Hungarian, he was MIGHTY adorable. He had it all written down on a paper in katakana. XD He also made us all sit down on the floor and then jump up high together. I think it was pretty damn awesome, and totally something you can only do at a small event like this. They also threw a bunch of picks in the audience at the end and thanked us a lot. I like to think they really enjoyed themselves and were able to put on an awesome show because of it. Hats off to the guys and here's to hoping they will come back to us.
In the end walked away with an adorable tour shirt.
