Last Straw
Got woken up again in the middle of the night by my down stairs neighbors. Was greeted by yet another new host when I asked them to turn it down. This is the 3rd time in less than 4 weeks I have been woken up by these guys. It stops now.
For those of you unfamiliar with Fort Collins, allow me to enlighten you to the douchiest public policy in existence. We have a 3 unrelated policy called U+2. That means that unless your residence is classified otherwise, no more than 3 unrelated people can live under your roof. Being a college town, this is a major point of contention between permanent residents and students. The thing that makes this policy really mean? They send inspectors to your house without warrants.
Now, those of us who are smart and have read up on this policy... all we do is say "Come back with a warrant". This is a little dramatic (Have a friend who had the inspector say they had one but refused to show it), but about the only thing I have in my arsenal that doesn't put me in legal hot water.
Though, you guys have no idea how badly I want to use my engineering powers for evil or hack their router to do backwards text (heck if I can remember where I saw it).
