MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! *rubs hands together in a diabolical way*

In other news, I took this from ColleenDetriot:

1. Are you named after anyone? If so, explain.
My first name, Amanda, was the name of my mom's favorite daytime soap character. Which is sad. Elyse was a name my great-grandmother liked. My dad wanted to name me Lucille Lynne. I may have killed him. He still calls me Lucy. Then he wanted Amanda Lynne. Lets say that together now: Amanda Lynne. AmandaLynne. A mandolin. My dad apparently wanted me to be beaten as a child.

2. Do you have your children's names picked out already? If so, is there any significance?
Well, I have two boy names and two girl names: Ezra Peyton and Caleb Matthew; Isabelle Jade and Elizabeth Ann. The boy names are names that I have had picked out for years, since the sixth grade. I just like them. My mom loves the name Isabelle and Jade was my best friend when I was little. Elizabeth is the name of my still-born sister and Ann is just a name I thought sounded pretty because I didn't want to give my hypothetical child the exact same name as her long-deceased aunt.

3. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been?
My name would have been Nathanial Alan, named after my maternal great-grandfather.

4. If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why?
Meh, I used to think about it when I was little, because I thought my name was relatively ordinary, but I like it now. For a long time, I did want to be called Lucy, and I do in fact answer to that name.

5. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do with your name constantly?
Well, no one really screws up my first name, but my middle and last get butchered a lot. People think my middle name is pronounced Elsie or Ellis or Alyse, when it is pronounced E-lease. If my parents wanted the e pronounced as an a, they would have named me Amanda Alyse, not Amanda Elyse. I also have a nine-letter, German last name with only two vowels, so I constantly have to pronounce and spell it for people. Telemarketers are the worst. We just tell them that there isn't anyone there by that name.
