The Day 2 schedule feels a tad ambitious. For me, 1 game = ~1 hour, but I suppose things move more quickly without waiting for pairings, resignations, etc. I guess you keep the post mortems short and sweet.
Day 2 will be from 10-18 games. I'm thinking that resignations will need to be strategic so you don't get exhausted. Maybe it'll end up being way too much and if so I'd certainly cut back in future versions of the event. I'm optimistic it would work because you're not waiting for pairings. In Utica this weekend, we had a double RR -- same opp twice in a row -- and finished a 4-game afternoon session in 3 hours 15 mins.
My original idea was to do 2 11's on Day 2 and go from about 7am to midnight or 1am but that was probably way too much.
resignations izz DEFINITELY strategic n clock management is even more so. best of 9--n ANYTHING--would go fair quick if muhfuckas knew WHEN 2 resign a game.
inna 1st round (OWL), only one of da 4 matches might go 5-4. Kate fuckin whinin about playin somebody multiple games--any of yall EVVA played a SESSION???????? whatdafuck IZZ a session 2 yall--7 games???????
Collins would be a problem cuz large early game deficits are much more easily overcome.
I guess the solution is for us to create more matchplay events.
