Taking Requests

Mar 05, 2010 17:48

So, as I mentioned, I finished my awful evil exam of doom and although my sense of self-worth has been erased out of existence, I AM FREE. So, to celebrate, now taking fic requests! (I've never done this before and always wanted to try and now feels like the time for pointless indulgences).

First five commenters get a flash fic of their choice. ( Read more... )

Really? *puppy eyes*

In the Lake of Despair Ahiru was Juliet, and Fakir, her Romeo. What went through their minds as they danced The Last Farewell knowing they were doing the pas de deux of star-crossed lovers. I'm sorry, but I've been starved of fluff and sweet angst lately. >>;;

lol. Well, angst-fluff is what comes easiest to me it seems XD Besides, this is a good excuse to rewatch the episode, dig out my Shakespeare, and look up Prokofiev.

A/N: Sorry for being so slow on this! (You thought I forgot didn't you?). But it was so sad and hard to write. But now, only one request left. Let's see if I can do it under a month >_>

All stories by their very natures are cruel. But the ones you know the endings to are the most cruel of all. The audience, Fakir thinks as he reaches out to Duck as she slips further and further into Despair, knows this is the last farewell, but Romeo and Juliet do not.

Fakir does not know if she even realizes it. She is so good at reading hearts and people, but when it comes to reading books, to any kind of formal knowledge really, you'd think her simpleton. Does she understand what this dance means? Does she realize why he led her out of her despair and into this last farewell? They're already in the middle of it, when he wants to grasp her by the shoulders and instead of helping her move into a turn, shake her a little and confess, it's Romeo and Juliet parting, moron. Dare he confess his love, when he's barely begun to see it, barely begun ( ... )
