Howdy everyone,

This Saturday, I'm leaving for Minnesota with my church's youth group on a "Work Camp." I'll be helping at some play-deely for needy kids, a few soup kitchen-esque places, fixing up homes, building, etc. I've loved going on these trips, but many of the other "Work Campers" have vastly different ideas of what is and is not amusing/fun/mind-numbingly stupid than I do. Additionally, no electronics are allowed, which I kind of understand but still annoys the hell out of me. As such, if any of you would like to send along a message of some sort, I would be incredibly grateful. If you feel so inclined, mail can be sent to this address:

Kevin Vredevoogd
Christ Presbyterian Church
6901 Normandale Road
Edina, MN 55435

The entire trip goes from June 24th to July 2nd, but I'll be at that address from the 25th to the 30th. I'm told that two to three days should be allowed for mail to arrive there from Michigan. Send anything. Last year, my aunt sent me a card congratulating me on my new baby boy. I'm really not picky.

Alternatively, if you don't want to go through the hassle writing things, there's going to be a fifteen minute [perhaps even a thirty minute (Oh boy!)] period each night in which I'll be able to use my cell phone. If you, my loyal readers, would be interested in leaving a message any time during the day, I'd be able to listen to it at some point. The following would probably be a good number to call.

1-586-770-9023

Again, saying absolutely anything would make me almost disturbingly (to the other "Work Campers") happy. Invite friends and strangers to do it. It'll be fantastic.

The most mystical man in all Russia,
Kevin Vredevoogd
