I'm currently procrastinating doing my prelab and postlab. Last night I felt so overwhelmed all of a sudden...sometimes I think I have panic attacks. I don't know what all of the symptoms are (though maybe I should, if I'm pre-med) but I'm pretty sure that I've been having them a lot lately. I need a break. I can't wait till next weekend (the one after this one) when hopefully I'll be in Rock Hill with my girlfriend!! Ha ha. (Which would be the lovely Stephanie Eckstein) and also Pam, though she has Zack so I guess she doesn't need me. I want to meet him...and Eric...and Nick...oops, going off on a tangent. Let's just say I'm happy.
So last night, as I said, I had some sort of anxiety issue. It was so bad I couldn't concentrate on my homework, so I took up Billy's invite to come watch scary movies in the rec room at McBryde with a bunch of people at ten o'clock at night. Yay for procrastination! Woot. It was soo much fun, though. When I got there it was Billy, Meghan, and two of her friends Kelly and Kristen (known as Krispy most of the time...and yep, that's Kristen Smith, my evil twin. Mwah ha ha! We both agree that we've got the coolest name. Even though she spells hers wrong, of course). Mat came a few minutes later; he was out at band practice wiht Nick and came running up to the glass wall from outside and just made scary faces at all of us. I totally saw that coming, though. I saw him come running before any of the others. What a doofus. XD
Then Mat and Billy went out to get us snacks. When they came back, we watched The Ring 2 (which isn't nearly as good as the first one; there were so many parts that were just stupid.) Except for the one part where the lady jabs this huge-ass needle in her neck...oops, I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it. But that really grossed me out. Mat thought it was funny that I wasn't bothered at all by blood and gore and whatnot but hyperventilated my ass off when people got stabbed with needles. I'm sorry, but that just makes me feel really queasy...maybe I shouldn't be pre-med. That'll be one obstacle in my way, then. I'll need to work to overcome that...*shivers*
Later Kevin came over, and whenever anyone went to use the restroom, he and Mat and sometimes Meghan and Billly would go sneak up on the poor unsuspecting person and scare the shit out of them when they emerged. One time Meghan fell asleep and Mat wanted to go over and scare her awake. I tried to pin him down and he was just like, "Pleeease? Pleeease?" Haha. Then later, Billy was all sprawled out on the couch, and Mat jumped on top of him. Then I jumped on top of Mat. I accidentally stuck my elbow in Billy's chest while I was doing this, and he just gasped, "Elbow! Elbow!!" for about ten seconds straight until I finally figured out that I was suffocating him. Whoops. XD
Meghan, Kelly, and Krispy all shared one couch, and Billy, me, and Mat were on the other couch. (Kevin sat on a chair later when he came.) The three girls were the typical stereotype--shrieking and giggling the entire time. Kinda annoying at times, but funny. Mat and I made sarcastic comments the entire time, mostly just to piss Billy off. He hates it when people talk during the movie.
Overall, it was a great night. It took my mind off my troubles, lol. Apparently when Billy and Mat were at the gas station getting food, they got into a fight (for fun) and Mat smacked Billy upside the head with a bag of Sun Chips. Well, the bag split, and the chips went everywhere!! They were laughing about it when they got back to the rec room. They said the employee on duty just looked at them like they were high. Mat and I shared what was left of the broken and crushed chips.
Wow...I've gotten in with such a rough crowd in college. It's fun, though. I think I really do love life right now. But there are certain parts that just continually stress me out and make me feel sick, day after day. I think it's me, and I just think I need someone to talk to...if ever I can get my thoughts organized enough to make one shred of sense. And if I have TIME.
Anyways, I really do need to get started on my work. Ugh. Hope at least one of you out there was entertained by this, though...
