Life is a Highway
Life's been wonderfully crazy. I took my certification exam on Saturday. TOok about three hours. I got done sooner than I expected. Class has been .. bearable. I idn't think I'd be able to manage a 8am class every day, but so far so good. I got an A on our first exam last Friday and an A on my research paper. Again, so far so good.
Work has been good. Paychecks are wonderful now that I've gotten another raise and more hours because of my summer availability. AND my apartment.. *crosses fingers* is in the works! Wednesday I'm meeting up with the landlord to look at a place and I'm hoping to be moved in somewhere by the end of the month when results of my certification come in. I'm sure I'm certified, but like they say, I won't count my chickens before they hatch.
With summer I have a little more time on my hands, minus work hours, and Katy's trying to get me back in the rp groove at HE. I've been doing so with her at the place she staffs on and it's a lot of fun. I'm worried to go back there and just hate it. This will probably be my last few months for rp before getting swamped with student teaching and graduation and then .. job applications. Ah well, we'll see what happens.
Saw Cars twice this weekend. Screened it with Lucy the Thursday before its debut, and then again on Sunday with my roommate. I love it. It's much better than I thought it was going to be (and I knew that it would be good) Might go and see The Omen tonight with Austin and a few coworkers, but I'm not sure if I'll be alert enough for that. Going home this weekend!
