I guess it's time for an introduction

Hey guys! I've been lurking around here for a while, but I haven't formally introduced myself, so I'm going to take this opportunity to do so.

Name: Stephanie
Wedding Date: January 30, 2010 (nothing like taking our time to plan, eh?)
Wedding Location: Eustis, FL
Wedding colors/theme: Black and White with bright accents. Theme is simply, "Love"
What DIY projects are you doing for your wedding?
Just about everything, actually. Hehe.
-Invitations
-Bouquets
-Decorations
-Cake
-Dress (although a friend has offered to make it and I might take her up on that)
-Photography is being done by a good friend
-DJ services are being done by the ushers and my best friend/groomsman
-Food is being catered by a friend of the FH's father (at a ridiculous discount)

These are the invites to our recent engagement party. I made them by printing the invite part on the computer, then using stamps and embossing them with silver and black embossing powder. The save the dates and wedding invitations will be made in a similar fashion.

The cake for our engagement party. Made by moi. :-)

The fiancee in his "No escape" shirt (he's a computer guy. I didn't get the design, but he says it's from World of Warcraft and he loves it, so that's all that matters. :-P) I wore one that said "Miller in training." Both were made by me. Design for his was found on the internet.

I'm not one for real flowers (way allergic) and I'm too cheap even for silk flowers, so I'm going to make ribbon or paper roses. I thought this would be a cool and unique touch and the FH has stated that he would like to learn how to make them and help me with the bouquets. :-) This one is one I mocked up for him out of toilet paper, but you'd never know by looking at it. :-P
