I met a man from Italy last night. He was a magician, and he did some really good coin/card tricks, but they didn't necessarily blow me away. I don't think I can really enjoy magic because I'm always too busy trying to figure out how they can pull off the illusion.
However, I have to say that I was beyond impressed when he levitated himself about a foot from the ground for about five seconds. I swear, his feet were completely above the ground and his hands were outstretched on either side in mid-air. I resent the fact that I didn't take a picture. I wanted him to do it again, but he said that he couldn't because if he did it more than twice in one night, his stomach would begin to hurt.
Hmm. Maybe I'm just a sucker and there really is a non-magical way to levitate one's self.
