Life is improving

I haven't written in here for quite awhile but I figured its time to update for those you might still read it. But yeah as my subject line says life is improving. I finally joined the working world again about 2 weeks ago and took a job with my friend Eileen at Barnes and Noble, not reall my intended career path but the pay is good, the people are nice, the discount is great, and best of all I got benefits after 2 months. Can't really complain. THere must be something about how once you stop looking things find you though cause I also got an email this week from the Cranford school district saying that they want to interview me. I don't know for what teaching position they want me but I am going to call them on Monday and see. It be at least a 40 minute commute each day but totally worth it, cause I would actually be teaching. We'll see, right now its just an interview so I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Last night I also went out on what was probably the best date of my life. Hell, who am I kidding it was the best date. I had been talking to Adam for like 2 weeks, everyday for at least an hour, and we finally met up last night. We were originally going to just go someplace in Hoboken to eat but we changed our plans and went to Houlihan's in Lincoln Harbor instead. After eating we went and walked along the river staring at the very cloudy night over the city. Then we went back to Hoboken and walked for like 2 hours along Washington St, just talking and laughing and having a great time. He even witnessed how I get these old indian men checking me out. Adam had just moved to Hoboken that week so I went and checked out the apartment that he had fallen in love with. It was a very nice place and we hung out there till like 1:00 when I had to force myself to leave, cause I could of easily spent the rest of the night with him. But I'll just have to wait instead to later today after we both finish running our errands.

When I got home last night I suddenly got a second wind of energy so I went with Andrew to see his dad in a bamboo cage in the middle of town. It was quite a sight and he'll be in it till 8 tonight. I forget his exact reasoning for doing it but I know it has something to do with POW/MIA. Perhaps I'll go stop by and visit again today.
