Petition to make St George's Day a national holiday
Today is St George's Day and what are we doing to celebrate our English heritage - sweet FA! Yet we celebrate St Patrick's Day with such fervour and do nothing for our own country. It's time to redress the balance and let 10 Downing Street know - let's make it top of Gordon's to do list when he starts his new job. If nothing else, we get another public holiday and that's always a good thing!
