One Night Only!
Last night's show was awesome! As usual, the opening night show was messy and a little off, but last night was just great. Have you come yet? To Planet of the Apes, I mean. And I mean the staged version we're doing at Re-Bar, not the actual planet of the apes, because you're already there. It's just earth, duh. You know, Charlton Heston must be one dumb ass astronaut. They arrive on an "alien" planet, where there are humans, and evolved apes, and it's been 3,000 years, and the apes ride horses and shoot rifles, and speak and write in English, but he doesn't gather that he's on Earth until he sees the statue of liberty? S-M-R-T.

Somewhere in the universe there must be something better than man. In a matter of time, an astronaut will wing through the centuries and find the answer. He may find the most terrifying one of all on the planet where apes are the rulers and man the beast, and no one is sexier than Charlton Heston!

It was great to see suzamaphone, lefthandedlib, breetfu, and rostin79 + his Jeff there last night. They seemed to enjoy it, and I got Ian to throw in a little birthday bit in Hunter's honor. Because I'm thoughtful like that.
