A Glimmer of Non-Shit

This morning when I turned on my car, the CD player started up where it left off, playing "From Paris to Berlin" by Infernal, one of the GAYest songs ever composed. I pushed the button to switch to FM radio, and "From paris to Berlin" was playing on the radio at nearly the same point in the song.

I was flabbergasted. I told my friend Sabina on our way in to work that it had to mean something. She agreed. I wondered what magnificent thing this bizarrely-hinged moment in time might herald.

Now I know.

Hurray for the WA state senate and for the progressive cause. We haven't really gotten much of a break lately, and it's been getting me down. I've overdosed on michellemalkin.com and other conservative blogs. Even the lefty blogs don't cheer me up much. So this is a nice change!

Another coincidence: last night Matt told his ex, Chris, to make him a red velvet cake from scratch because the boxed ones are shit. OMG, Andy feels the same way! See? Ganesh is with me!
