So we're in Missoula, Montana. We stayed in Wallace, Idaho last night. The little town was gorgeous. If I was a celebrity I would buy a home there and visit once every few years or something. You may recognize the town as the stand-in for the fictional hamlet of "Dante's Peak" from the Linda Hamilton film, called Dante's Peak.

The people were very nice, and the beer and the cigarettes were dirt ass cheap. I got a pack of smokes and a beer at a bar for less than $5. I never wanted to leave.

Alice received a lot of attention at the bar, being by far the youngest and most attractive woman there. Thank god people were under the impression that we were together. It was hard to gauge how liberal or conservative the people were. One guy who lives in Port Angeles totally had my number, though. He talked about how he had a female friend that he had driven across the country with. He added, "I also banged her, though," implying, I think, that he knew there was no banging going on between Alice and I.

Or has there been???

Nope, there hasn't.

We have a list of goals we want to accomplish during this trip. I want to mention that one of these goals is to try the new Burger King chicken finger fries. We've also vowed not to eat at McDonalds at all.

One goal was to take a tour of a mine. We included it because we knew we were going to do that today and could cross it off the list. What a sense of accomplishment! The mine was really cool to explore, but it really hit home how I would rather kill myself or be a nasty mongolian warlord's bitch boy than to ever work in a mine.

The god damned "Welcome to Montana" sign was hung on an overpass on the freeway right after an on-ramp, so our goal to get a picture with every "Welcome to --" state sign is already a bust.

I think my hour of internet is almost up. I will have to work on these pictures on Flickr at a later date.

Catch ya on the flipside, yall!
