Spoilers and Spoiler Discussion & Speculation

Okay, so I was on the internets, and I saw something Dan Schneider posted and though we could discuss.

“iLost My Mind - This is the very exciting and hilarious “sequel” to iOMG. If you’ve been wondering, “So what happens now that Sam suddenly kissed Freddie” then you do NOT want to miss iLost My Mind. And… iLost My Mind will guest star the nuclear-talented star of The Big Bang Theory, Jim Parsons!

Also, iLost My Mind will lead to three more new iCarly episodes that we think you should put in the “MUST SEE” category. Their current titles are iDate Sam and Freddie… iCan’t Take It… and iLove You.

These are the first four episodes we filmed of the new iCarly season. During production, the writers and I often heard from the staff and crew, “These may be the best iCarly iCarly episodes we’ve ever done.” Of course, you guys (the fans) will be the judge of that, but we all feel great about these episodes, because we think you’re going to laugh hard, and really enjo
Oh, and if you’re a “shipper” - don’t go freakin’ out on us! Whether you’re a Seddie or a Creddie, trust us - you’ll have plenty to be happy about in the future of iCarly :)
iStill Psycho - One of the iCarly episodes I hear about (from fans) most is iPsycho. For whatever reason, it got a huge rating and, to this day, when I meet iCarly fans, they often mention iPsycho as one of their favorite episodes.

It’s one of my faves, too. I loved working with Danielle Morrow (a.k.a. “Nora Dershlit”) - and the fight between her and Gibby was epic, don’t you think? Anyway, I was thinking about iPsycho a while ago, and I said to myself, “Hey, why not make a ‘sequel’ to it?” - which is exactly what we did. It’s INSANE! In fact, one scene is so intese and crazy, it took us a WHOLE DAY just to film the one scene. I feel almost positive you guys are gonna LOVE iStill Psycho.”

------------------------

iMeet The First Lady - You’ve probably heard about this one. Very recently, we had the honor and pleasure of hosting First Lady, Michelle Obama at Schneider’s Bakery, where we filmed an UBER COOL episode featuring Mrs. Obama, as herself. It was an incredible week of filming for all of us at iCarly.

And not only did we get to work with Mrs. Obama, I also cast my good friend Taran Killam as a Secret Service agent. I first worked with Taran when he played “Spaulding” in Moody’s Point (The Amanda Show), and now Taran is one of the best players on Saturday Night Live. It was great working with him again.

ALSO… guess WHO ELSE makes a little cameo appearance in iMeet The First Lady. Can you guess? Hint: It’s the FIRST time it’s ever happened on iCarly. ;)

------------------------

Okay, that’s enough for now. Keep an eye out for all these episodes over the next weeks/months. I think you’ll be really happy and laugh a lot when you see them.

Until then, here are some cool pics I’m posting for the first time. Hope ya like ‘em!"

My Take:

Right now, my primary interest is in the three episodes that follow iOMG. Some will say: "Hey, those are probably gonna be Seddie episodes." Well, yes...probably to do with Seddie. As in their breakup. iLost My Mind seems to indicate that Sam checks herself into a mental institution because she realizes she's gone nuts in dating Freddie. iCan't Take It sounds like what Sam would say if she ended up staying with Freddie through iLost My Mind and THEN came to her senses.

iDate Sam and Freddie seems interesting. That's a weird way to title an episode about Sam and Freddie dating each other, firstly. It almost sounds as though Sam and Freddie are dating different people. That, or Carly is STILL forced to go on their dates with them as in the short promo. Either way, it's train wreck-y.

And then there is the most interesting title of them all: iLove You.

Buzz around the web says two things about that episode. Thing 1: Spencer gets a new girlfriend. Thing 2: Sam's Uncle Carmine is said to be in the episode. That says to me that both Sam and Spencer have major parts in this episode. And there are more things to consider...

Firstly, Spencer can't keep a girlfriend for sour apples. I mean, wasn't it established in iParty With Victorious that he ran over like two of them? And then there are all his other failed romances. Spencer actually having a new, steady girlfriend isn't funny and ruins the show dynamic of two guys, two girls and a Gibby. And, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?

And then there's the possibility of Sam being major in the episode. Sure, it could be just a dinky little subplot, but I somehow doubt that.

And here's the major thing to consider: Dan implies iLove You is directly related to the iOMG arc. And it seems to be the last one in that arc AND it involve Spencer having a girlfriend? How can Spencer having a girlfriend be related to the Seddie plot?

Another thing to consider is the title itself. Freddie and Sam saying "I love you" to each other totally ruins the immediate prospects of Creddie, which Dan says will play into these upcoming episodes. Carly wouldn't be stealing Freddie from Sam even if she did decide she was in love with him. It would cause too much drama and ruin friendships. So, then, would Spencer say "I love you" to some random girl? Hell no. The only way Spencer would say that to some random new girlfriend was if there was a comical reason behind it...like she somehow tricks him into it and he ends up feeling used in the end. Spencer, however, isn't going to fall into some passionate romance with a random chick. That's not funny and would gain no additional interest in the series.

The only way the phrase will shock and excite viewers is if one main character says it to another or if two main characters think they're in love (or even one sided main character love). But if Freddie and Sam don't say "I love you" and neither do Spencer and his new girlfriend, then who says it? To me, there are two likely scenarios.

Scenario 1: Carly decides she's in love with Freddie and, risking friendship with Sam, tells him so.

Scenario 2: Sam says it to...wait for it...SPENCER. Think about it. What could abruptly bring a credible end to Seddie? Sam realizes she's in love with someone else. And since Spencer has some storyline in this episode, why not him? Perhaps, seeing him with another woman, Sam realizes she doesn't merely have a crush? Yes, I know it's a kid's show, but the "kids" of the show are of age and are pretty much in Spencer's age bracket now. They're older. Spencer isn't a "grown up" anymore -- he's one of them. And what's a normal part of getting older? Developing feelings.

However, if Sam does make some admission of her love for him...I could see it going two ways (since this IS Nickelodeon). 1) It's said, done, and is then forgotten about in the next episode. OR 2) Spencer let's Sam down gently in a rare tender moment similar to Carly and Freddie in iSaved Your Life.

But, obviously, I'd prefer him not to turn her down.

And, even if it doesn't work out remotely that way, I still don't see them forgetting Sam's little crush entirely. I mean, they didn't forget Freddie's crush on Carly did they? (I secretly wonder if the "little crush" admission was them testing the waters, seeing how far the network and viewers might let them take Spam.)

So, any thoughts or facts or new spoilers? I'd love to hear them!
