When I first read this editorial, I felt that it was definitely bittersweet, written as it was by a woman who had admittedly walked into a difficult situation. After enduring the battlefield of a second family myself, I could relate (somewhat). But after reading other people's comments, I can see how her opinions might be perceived as more "bitter" than "sweet" - with a few potshots at "zebra pants" and "gray hair." It's unfortunate that Tracy may not have made peace with her past. Thoughts?
